I'm aware of the +3 degrees. I have a facelift model, with the info display that gives a warning when the temp outside is too cold.
What happens in my case, is that when I turn the aircon on, the light illuminates telling me that the a/c is on. The compressor does not kick in. If I provide a positive feed to the compressor supply, it kicks in immidiately and gets the car cold in seconds.
The voltage in the compressor supply is around 12V with the rest of the car running at 12.9V (idling). There are hardly any amps to measure so I think there could be a short, or a relay with faulty contacts?
Does anyone know if there are any other a/c relays besides the one at the battery? Anyone have any other ideas?
