Hi - i'm new to this forum so apologies for my lack of knowledge!
Basically, after MOT a fortnight ago, i was told that the breaks on my Alfa GT JTD were going to need seeing to soon as they were getting worn, but that i still had a couple of thousand miles left on them.
Then, i started to get the brake fluid warning light - which scared the bejaysus out of me - topped up the fluid anyway but turns out this may be linked to the worn breaks...
Anyway - this morning i noticed that the clutch was very loose (normally it's pretty damn heavy) and that it only felt like it was engaging in the final 5% of the 'push down'. i can still change gear but i'm mighty worried!
So - are all these things inter-related? Is the clutch affected by the break fluid at all? or have i misinterpreted that completely? if i just sort the breaks will all these problems go away? (he said hopefully!!)
failing that - any ideas at all?
Oh - and lest i forget, my clutch pin went about 6 months ago and the cruise control hasn't worked since, is that something i can cure or is it a garage job?!
All help & guidance greatly appreciated!!!
