Nothing much. Money better spent elsewhere.

I raised a similar thread a week or so ago and the general opinion was leave the addatives alone and use a decent semi or fully synth oil. I used to use slick 50 or molyslip in previous cars and wondered what the forums thoughts were. Didnt get 1 positive. So I am going with Satanisms advice and will use Magnatec, which I have used before and trust. Mine is a 156 1.8 ts sw but I imagine the advice will pan out the same.

Nooooo. Not Magnatec.

I might be part of a small group, but I love the liqui moly. I run the goblin on the 10W40 with Cerratec added. There was a noticable change when I moved up from the Magnatec.

Nothing wrong with Magnatec at all. Ran my previous Alfa on it for many thousands of miles with barely any consumption and no problems whatsoever.

oil additives aren't generally a good idea. The oil already HAS an additive package in it and you can't guarantee the additive won't cause issues. Still, you pays your money....

My old 1.8 Twinny ran fine on Magnatec - was still going strong at 158k when I sold it.

I wouldnt bother with it, it is just an average engine oil with their additive chucked in for good measure and the additive is no good to you at all.

They have also changed their name to try and shift some product in the UK as the Liqui Moly name was not doing them any favours, they are also scouting about for a new UK importer... Read into that how you will
