Re: tyre 205/60r15" 91v
Top perfromance tyres do not come in 205/60R15 91V so recommendations of F1 GSD3 or Pilot Sport does not help. If you are sticking to this size you probably are not interested in outright performance.
I reckon Pirelli P6, some Michelin Pilots(not Sport), Conti ContiPremiumContacts OEM replacement tyres come in this size and are decent enough.
I'm currently back on factory 205/60/15 91W Pilot HX after riding for a year/15000km with a set of 17s. Call me conservative but I think 17" is not suitable for the roads in my country, the ride is harsh, chances of wheel damage is almost certain(all 4 rims bent in a year), the tyre feedback on less than smooth(cemented) highways at high speed borders on irritation, and resuling in a pair of numb hands after 2hrs at 180kmh. Of course Im getting old and desire more comfort in my ride, hahaha.
I'm going to get the Yokohama V550 in 205/60/15 VR for my next change as that is the only decent tyre which fit my criterias at the moment. My choices are limited to Bridgestone RE711 which is discontinued, Potenza GIII, ER60 or some Kumho models. Other HR rated tyres that come in this size are under specced for a car which occasionally sees 230kmh.
