156 JTD clutch
I nopticed the other day some clutch slip when accelerating at around 2.5k revs in 5th or 6th. This suprised me as I had the clutch and DMF replaced (due to slip) shortly after buying the car by a local Alfa indie at 86k miles. I am now only a couple of years o at 117k miles adn would have expected a clutch plate to last much longer. Given I haven't changed my driving style or regular routes and have put in excess of 100k on my previous vehicles and this is the first time I've had to buy a clutch. This is my first diesel and is driven fairly hard, but I would still expect a longer life.
Apart from clutch wear is there any other reason for slip. There is no juddering that I would expect if I had an oil leak onto the clutch.
