It is the same thing. The answer is no, you need to buy a new one from Alfa (or go through a few torturous methods which involve removing your ECU and sending it off, which is ok but still costs enough money).
If you have lost your key loop you can take your pick, either:
a) drill a small transverse hole through the end of the key and fit a keyring thorough it. If you drill right in the corner there is a safe box section to drill through with no parts in it to damage
b) push a loop of shoelace through the slit in the end of the key and out just above the battery holder. Put the free end of the lace through the loop and pull tight. You can now tie your key to any keyring and it has the added advantage of ensuring your battery holder doesn't fall off.
