Radio / RCL fuse blowing

Hi guys,

Jump started the 156 yesterday (it had been sat for a while because I've now got a co. car) and got it running however I noticed the radio wasn't working. Replaced the 10a fuse whilst the car was running and it blew instantly. I thought "its just the radio, I'll fix that another time" shut the door and went to lock the car via the remote and the alarm arms but the RCL didn't.

So I then try the key in the door, central locking works. I then replaced the fuse again with the key out the ignition and RCL works fine, however as soon as the ignition is turned on the fuse blows.

I've got a feeling that the fuses that sit on top of the battery might be the cause as there is no cover on mine and whilst trying to get a decent connection on the terminal I fear I may have touched something in there?

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Cheers, Andy
