removing gearknob from my GT

Hello all,

I've recently bought myself a Carbonio black GT JTD with tan leather and I LOVE it

It took me 8 months to find her - but it's been worth the wait

I've got a Momo gearknob that i'd like to fit, so i'm after some advice on how I go about removing the original.

Has anyone got any tips?

Cheers, Matt

keep twisting and pulling (upwards) try some heat under the lip of the knob (hairdryer or heat gun) but be prepared for when it finally does go, don't want to smash yourself in the teeth!
