do-able (you guys knew i'd say that eh!)
but realistically, to what end?
the OE turbo and fuelling can be mapped to supply enough torque to split your gearbox by the end of the week, and blow your hoses to bits by lunchtime, so unless youre also willing to also fund a lock up clutch, No DMF, replace the gearbox with something seriously stronger, same for the driveshafts, and then sort out the monstrous torque steer, i wouldn't bother personally.
if you were to consider changing the turbo for something that will spool similar but hold on to the boost longer, less tail off, then i'd say worth while, as hinted at above, a hybrid build would likely be best, that way they will tailor the compressor sizes etc etc to what you want to aim for, and then a good live map.
If you want to be seriously quick and different, DeCat, Hard Pipes, Map, stonger clutch=quick and powerful, even sounds a bit better!
I doubt you'd be dissappointed, you'd have more torque than a GTA and still 45mpg! ha ha! Crazy!
