Good idea Ian, thanks for the input
I'll try to address those here and now, where everyone is watching, and rather than clutter the next thread with it too.
The warranty for a self fitted exhaust pipe would have to be limited to a point, but the materials and the workmanship in assembling it, i.e. the steelwork, the welds, the flanges, will be guaranteed against defect.
Any faults found in the materials or workmanship must be brought to my immediate attention.
At such time i will likely ask for the return of it at first opportunity, and i will of course replace it FOC.
If i have another version avaialable at the time that i am notified of a manufacture fault, it will be earmarked as the replacement, and despatched the moment the defective goods are returned. If not, you will be informed as such, and a replacement will be made for you at first opportunity.
Upon inspection of the stated fault, if found to be correct, postage cost will be reimbursed.
Faults covered will be failed weld, failed seals from poor welds, and failed seal from sdefective pipework.
Faults not covered, will be damage due to poor fitment, damage incurred as a result from any incident, or failures and damage incurred as a result of other modifications.
Does that cover it?
If anyone wants to raise any particular instances as a query, please do so now and prior to ordering anything.
ps - this should serve as a standard warranty statement for any type of product/project i do in the future.
