System failure after New Clutch

Hi Guys

Hoping you can help were the garage is scratching their heads,

Returned from holiday to find the clutch gone in my 156 JTD, so had a new one fitted, collected from the garage Saturday and used for work Monday when the warning went off on the dash VDC and the car engine stopped. Whilst waiting for recovery truck the error stopped and engine started and drove home again without a problem. Drove it back to the garage this morning and waited for work to start. However, the engine would not start and the error codes keep coming EBD VDC ABS - but after speaking to Mangoletsi's this should not stop the car from starting which it is. They checked and double checked the brakes, abs. Nothing wrong.

Any help or advice greatly appreciated as stoney broke and desperate. Will have to have it recovered into Mangoletsi if you can not help - OUCH!
