Help i think probs with power supply

yo! ive got an alfa rpmeo 156 2,4 JTD veloce 2001, and im allredy proud about it i Bought it from a guy i know, so pluss minuss as i know so far the tech is ok, but is one probl. actually 2 of them first, when car is cold, and im traying to start the engine, there is like small kick throght all car but its ok after, like car starts ok, just a little diskomfort - mybee not the biggest prob , the biigest prob is power loss not like hp loss but electrical loss, exp when the car is cold and i what to go for about 2,5 and more rpm i can see that spido light is sparkling, sometimes car lost power at all i think and abs and handbrake light turned up, but after that i can start again and no probs at all, mybee its all baout that silly chip from ebay, witch is swiched off but i tried once to check difference. mybe its generator or just flat battery? any advice - welcome

I'm far from sure that I understand what you are saying - part of it sounds like an electrical problem - maybe a bad earth to the engine? - but a loss of power sounds more like a MAF problem - not unusual on any of the 156s...althouigh it could be a split in one of the induction pipes.

Maybe try posting again before you hit the Guinness?
