Damn. Picked up a puncture on the side wall of one of my Conti SportContacts tyres. Can you believe it - it was on the same stretch of road in almost the same place as last time - and on the near side front tyre like last time! And I've only done 4100 miles in my new car

Does 107 sound reasonable for a new 205/55/R16 W Conti SportContact?

Re: Puncture

Sounds pretty unreasonable to me; my new Yoko's were 88 each and I'd rate them higher than the Conti's any day.

Re: Puncture

er no. I paid 75 fully fitted at Protyre on the A10 in Enfield. But then I did buy 4 at once so got a bit off, and a price match to some place in st albans.

I reckon 85 - 90 would be fair price, but they are 'premium' brand.

I like my conti's alot. Ford use them on their sportier models, and they now have great chassis dynamics as a major priority in specs/setup
