Do you reckon if V550 is better than ES100 and tad below AVS Sport?
I had 17" ES100 on my 156 and it's pretty quiet in the 1st 1000km after that
the -ve camber started to wear off the inside shoulder and became nosier.
Had it for 15000km and both shoulders are pretty much worn to the belt.
(I flip the tyres left to right, to even out the wear) Very soft compound,
good grip in dry, decent in wet, excellent braking.
Not fantastic, but a decent high perf tyres, downside is soft shoulders and noise.
Now back on the original 15" Michelin Pilot HX(MXV3A) it plain sucks--roll &
squeal in corners, lousy braking(ABS kicks in soooo early), and the whole front
end slides even in slow u-turns
But it is so blardy quiet man, for a 4 yr
Aiming to get the V550 but the treads looked so, so...ordinary in real life, not
much different from the old Aspec dB and the 205 size for V550 looks
narrower than other 195 width tyres. Was it u who said these tyres are
'bloody magic'? My tyre guy said V550 is better than ES100. I dont know
how good those Zero Neros are but they are ultra performance tyres, aren't
they? If the V550 is bloody magic then it must be near Eagle GSD-3 or Pilo
