Fitting a GT boot badge

I've got a new boot badge for my GT but have no idea how to fit it, can anyone help? Is it as simple as removing the inside panel to reveal the back of the two holes?

I replaced the boot badge on my GT. If I recall correctly, it was a simple as you described. You will need a socket to get the nuts off once you have taken the inner trim off then replace the badge , refit nuts (make sure the rubber seal is flush) tighten and snap back in the panel.

GT back boot badge

Ive got an 06 GT, dont bother removing the back panel, just gentle prize around the back boot badge with a flat head screwdriver and it will peel away.
