Thumbs Up Chucky's Badges Fantastico!

I have bought a pair of Chucky's badges and they are great! My back badge was so faded and the coloured enamel had completely worn away (previous owner must have enjoyed polishing allot) so the badge surface wasn't even smooth but the sticker when on a treat and looks so much better! When staying with my parents over Xmas my dad washed my car and didn't even notice it wasn't the badge and he's so fussy, he HAD actually told me not to get the stickers because he thought they'd look awful!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Decals

I purchased Chucky's decals - I have to say they are superb - I have power washed my car since fitting - no issues what so ever.
They are superb quality and exceptional value for money.

Still need to fit mine. Can I ask guys as my original badge has kind of de-laminated. Do I need to smooth it down flat with wet and dry or will it just cover over? The laminate is not thick but I don't want it to show through.

Great Badges

Had mine on the car for a week now and they look great.

I never realised how bad the faded badges looked before putting these on.

Great Job Dan.

Yep, had mine on the front over the winter and still looks good as new. So much better than a tatty faded badge......

Hey guys,

New Alfa GT owner here, so I'll try not to break anything. I know some of you have received their Chucky badges over the last couple of weeks, but I was wondering if ordering those from him was still an option? I dropped him a line, but I'm not sure whether I should wait for an answer since he doesn't seem to have been active in this thread for a while now - or should I just start looking at other solutions to my problem with faded badges. Besides, his tutorial thread on applying the stickers now seems to be missing...

In case Chucky's supply has run dry, have any of you guys come across any new / second best alternatives? I'm not sure I'm willing to splash out on OEM badges just to see them fade in time as the original ones have, so what I'm generally looking for is a high-quality and durable product; price isn't really that much of a determining factor.

Although to be perfectly honest, judging by everyone's response so far, I think I'd really like Chucky's badges best of all

Not sure but I would probably wait for him to return/reply. They are rather good.

I emailed him last week, paid and got them quickly. Great vinyl and made the 159 look a million times better. I Put a set on both my 159 and 147. They rock.
You will not be dissapointed.

Great badge replacement option

Thanks Dan for the stickers, they are really good quality and look the business. They are also, dare I say, easy to fit even if I did mess up fitting the front one and got the back one a mm off centre! Beats the hell out of trying to remove the badges and forking out 45 quid for new ones. Now can you make a heat resistant sticker to cover up the rusty back box?

P.S Been looking for a while to make a first post, but pretty much every question I have is answered by search on this excellently helpful forum!!
