A flat sticker won't fit a dome properly, as before, why not change the badges? - was one of the first jobs I did on mine and it made a huge difference

It's not UV that does these badges in, I'm convinced. I've had 2 Alfas for a combined 5 and a half years and I've never had a rear badge go yet. Despite the car pretty much always being parked front end facing a wall and rear end facing the sun.

I've always thought it had to be something to do with the air that flows over the front badge but not the back. Unscientific and entirely empirical. But thats my tuppence.

Yes I had fallen for the ad and ordered some of the e-bay ones too. Absolute rubbish! Not even worth the postage! (which was free)

Would really like to avoid the hassle on the rear. And I think I am not the only one.

Glad to see Chucky is back. I bought one of his badges and put it on the domed boot badge. No problem at all. It looks great. Thanks Chucky.

Welcome back,Dan

How was Europe??

You've been in huge demand....thought you were dead !!!

And by the way, i don't even need to worry about looking at my badges...they're as good as the day they were put on.

To be honest,i've changed cars since i got Dan's badges and the new car had such a faded specimen,i just swapped the whole grille from my old one.

So now i've still got a bit of my old bella on my new car.

Keep up the good work,Dan.....but next time, give us a date when you'll return from your travels !!!!

I have just realised that the front badge is not flat, it is raised where the writing is. Is this normal??

I don't understand your post...are you saying Chucky's stickers are poor...i think not.

Insects and snow don't fade the badges...perhaps the sun might have something to do with that

Dan's badges are fine !!
