These badges are as good as the originals when fitted and only took a few days to arrive from Italy

They look good enough and better than taking the boot apart.

Odd thing is that my front badge is now totally devoid of colour (looks like a polished brass relief badge..) but the boot badge is almost as new, after almost 10 years here in sunny France.

Yes the description looses something in translation..
To lever the old badge off without damaging the surround you just drill a hole in the front of the old badge so you can get a screwdriver under it to lever it off, its only held on with double sided tape so not too difficult.

Is it hollow behind the badge to make sure you don't go to far?

We all know how our scudetoo on the bonnet and tailgate likes to fade with time, and how difficult might be to remove them and place new one.

I`m able to offer (I think very nice looking) sticker/decal AR, they are made from cast films with UV lacquer protected, perfectly matched the original place of the badge ALFA ROMEO - in fact it looks like the original AR badge. You need to take really close look to see that it is sticker.

I don't know if you're still doing these Chuck they do look quite effective. the let down is the gold or chrome parts but these don't fade on the original badges in my experience just the colours which either detach and flake off or discolour.
Is it possible to do that sticker with the metallic parts left clear so you would be able to see them through the sticker. Mind-you I guess I could cut out the coloured bits on my cutter plotter and just stick them in the correct recesses on the old badge

I have got a complete set of 2 main badges and 4 for the alloys. They are not exact colour as the original Alfa badges however if you wanna be different then they are not too bad. Will try and post a pic tomorrow.

Here are the pics.

These were made for a 159 and not 156. Don't know if there is much difference though.

In the end I've gone for the italian ones as ref by Jon156veloce. I clicked on his shop and found some for the front and back of the GT for 11 quid each. I'll let you know how they fit etc.
Previous to this I tried the metalic vinyl stickers from greece also mentioned earlier in this post but they got "lost" in the post so all i got was a ( very prompt, i should point out ) refund.

I have also ordered 2 of the Italian ones at 11 each, I thought I might give them a couple of coats of clear lacquer before I fit them.

There is a big difference. There should be more space between Alfa and Romeo. In that way it is like AlfaRomeo.

True, I bought these for my 159 and never used them as I decided to change just the front badge with the original stuff.

Well I was waiting for Chucky to reappear but looks like that might not happen...

I found this - I've order a pair. It'll take a month to arrive but if it is good I'll report here.
