Driving without lambda sensor

Just did some exhaust work and noticed the lambda sensor was clogged with sot, probably because of a leaking exhaust flexipipe. The car runs with all the symptoms of a bad lambda, so it probably needs replacing.

Engine ecu had stored a lambda heater error. I haven't managed to find wiring scheme for this, is there any way I can test the heater circuit? The mechanic at my local garage replaced the sensor one year ago because of high emissions and heater fault code.

I've ordered a new MAF and lambda to be sure. Does anyone know if I risk damaging anything if I just disconnect the lambda sensor and drive without it until my parts arrive?

Lambda sensor log from alfadiag here (approx 1hrs driving):
