Cry Like A Baby well its happend eventually

well the other day i hit a taxi and there is no damage to his car so no claim , but my poor alfa now has a crack in the front of the bumper right below the grill, i want to repair it but i am wondering wether to repair it myself or go get a specialist to do it, id rather tacle it myself like, but what type of glue etc would i use? it is cracked all the way through

Better trying to find one in good condition from a scrapper. Matching it all in can be a nightmare on a repair and you will always see it if its not perfect.

You should take it off and get it plastic welded then take it for painting, a good paint shop will match the paint when they see the bumper. This way will save a few quid and give you the opportunity to see the job is done correctly. I have done this with my bumper and it worked out cheaper also by doing the refit yourself you will know its done right and not stuck back on with broken clips. Once bumper is back on you could give the car a rub of compound and polish to match everything up.
