Re: EMS Failure and loss of power!
I've had the same proble, off and on over the last couple of years, with the wiring loom working loose due to it being manufactured slightly too short. Apparently it is fairly common on JTS models, no consolation for me though as I have a 2.0 TS.
The only real cure is to have the whole wiring loom replaced, which can only be done under warranty in the first year, the second and third year warranty will not cover it. My local garage repair the loom, as and when it happens, by soldering spacers on to each individual when they fail. Not very satisfactory, but at least they do it for free, the whole loom would cost £600 - £800 to replace , apparently.
