Alfa GT Heartache
I'm new to this forum but have owned three Alfa's, two 156's and now a GT.
The Alfa GT was bought in Cheltenham and was in it's 3rd year of it's warranty. In the last three months the clutch went, suspension needed replacing, the turbo failed and a few other bits and peices. All of the these were fixed under warranty with a 12 month defects period.
Since then the handle fell off the door, the window regulator failed, lights randomnly blew and a myriad of other things happened.
Three months after the defects period on the work was up the clutch failed again. An Alfa garage informed me that the bearing plate (I'm not technical) was faulty. Alfa have refused to assist in the repair even though it was a faulty product fixed under warranty (I know that I am outside the defects period).
Has anyone had any experience in getting assistance from Alfa. I have to pay for a new clutch as it all comes in piece...
I think Alfa's are beautiful and a pleasure to drive. This car however has put me off ever buying an Alfa again as I simply cannot afford to keep with maintenance and repairs.
Thanks in advance...
