bypassing immobiliser???

Hi all.
I have a 156 which I am getting rid of but the keys have gone missing????? The car is now stranded outside the house and as i am not going to be putting it back on the road I dont want to fork out for a new coded key. Is there any way of bypassing the immobiliser and using a blank key so I can drive it away?Any help would be greatly appreciated as my mate needs the car because he crashed his own one and needs parts from it.Cheers

a very dirty car

Do a search on the forum. You can input the immobiliser code via the accelerator pedal. It is a pain to do but at least you can start it and use it. If you don't have the code it will be about £20 from the dealer.

Permanent solutions are possible by fiddling the ECU but the cost may be about the same as a new key (possibly more). Contact Alfa Tuner on this forum for a quote.
