The final straw-anyone want a cheap 20v?
After months off the road and thousands spent, Smaky finally got my 20v sorted (with the help of a brand new ecu). So, last Friday, after 4 weeks and not many miles back in service it threw the aux belt.
After investigation this morning, the spring tensioner bolt has sheared in the casting on the side of the engine.
So, as well as £100+ for a tensioner, there is also the cost of engineering the broken bolt out. Which I'm not going to pay.
In fact, I'm not spending another penny on that ridiculous car. I put two tyres on it last week-which have done less that 60 miles!
So, I'm cashing in the tax and putting it on ebay, spares or repair.
If anyone's interested, pm me with an offer.
