Well what can I say? I went in on friday, they said they couldnt find anything wrong so they ordered me a new starter motor and said they were going to work their way backward! I was pleased that they were taking my problem seriously as up until that point I was sure they had just parked it up out the back! anyway to my shock I had a call form them 10 mins ago to say the have located the problem and fixed it!
it was a multiplug that had come dissconected in the loom somewhere! I have to say it was my first experience with the main dealer, I did not buy from them as I thought I might as well take a risk and save £5k! due to the reputation they had, they were very helpful (although they did not offer me a courtesy vehicle but i didnt want to take the pi**!!)
Glad I have got my pride & joy back, was lost without her!, only problem is that I had to keep walking past the new GT in the showroom & i like it, I like it a lot!! ......£££££kerching!
Oh and just in case you are all thinking of flocking down to this wonderful dealership...my mate took his 156GTA in for a service first thing in the morning, he had a call at 4pm asking for a spanner
for his locking wheel nuts!!
My experience must have been the exception rather than the rule!!
And thanks for all your help Rick!!
