Alfa 156 TS wont start after engine swap -,-
I got an Alfa 147 TS 2.0 engine in my Alfa 156 TS 2.0... After starting the car for the first time, it didnt turn over at all. There were clicking noises coming from the 'relay'(?) located on the battery stand (second from the right)... I noticed there was a tiny spark coming from the battery when i tried to connect the negative lead to it.
After moving the wires around behing the starter motor, I noticed that the spark went away and tried to start the car and there was a strong turn over but the car wouldnt start... Then i touched the wires coming from the negative lead and the turning over stopped and the clicking noise came back... what could it be?
Could it be the crank sensor because the one from the 147 engine didnt have a brown connector (the wire went straight to the ecu), so I had to cut the wire off the 147 crank sensor and re-wire it to my 156 connector so I can connect it to the 156 ecu... And what about the clicking noise?
