Too much oil in JTS
I had my 156 JTS serviced two weeks ago (1 year/18000 km) and they (idiots!) added too much oil in it! I only found out yesterday after I got a Motor Management Failure message and the engine did not run more than 3000 rpm and started sounding like a diesel. Took it to back to dealer and they accepted the problem was caused from oil excess. They drained almost half a liter (may be more, I could not measure it). They also removed the Throttle body MDS unit (I am not sure if the term is correct, this is a Bosch unit placed where the air intake tube meets the engine and has a metal diaphragm that opens and closes) and had to clean it inside with solvent to remove oil spills, obviously caused by oil excess. When I asked if there could be any damage at the motor because of this they said they don't think so but should call them if anything comes up. Does anyone know what kind of damage can be caused by putting too much oil in a JTS engine? Are there any parts that could be damaged and I should ask to be replaced?
Thanks for any comments/advise!
