GT V6 Brakes

Lo all

Last time i posted i had a 156 2.5 v6 but since have upgraded to the mighty GT.

Im not know among my friends for being good with cars, so i decided to shake off my reputation and be proactive with the maintenance of the car.

She was due for an MOT in July so i thought that i would change the discs and brakes before hand. Camberly AutoFactors supplied me with the Delphi Discs and Pads and i proceeded to screw up the installation by putting the brake pads in the wrong sides, so the tapered edge was pointing down in the caliper. I know i know school boy error and it produced ALOT of squeeling while braking. We finally figured it out and swapped them around, but all thats done is move the squeeling noise to when i brake in reverse! Surely thats not right, on other cars i have owned the pads have 2 tapered edges not just the 1. Is this normal on the GT or just Delphi a weird make?

I feel like an idiot for doing it wrong and just want my car 100%, its bad enough some cowboy car washers pulled the door handle off

to replace the brembo stuff you really have to clean the callipers up well or they do squeal.
