You say no travel of pedal.
Yes there could be something seizing on any part of the brake caliper/s components.
Have you tried... pumping pedal to evacuate the brake servo (with engine off), then keep pedal pressed and start engine, if the pedal drops then that would indicate the servo is working if not then the servo is a area to start from (this is a check that is carried out on a MOT test), check that the vacuum pipe to the servo is sucking - you have to pull pipe away from servo to check this, if not then that will stop the servo from working properly.
If vehicle is a petrol engine you should find the engine may run fast and or possibly stall when the pipe is disconnected. If diesel the engine should stay running, in both instances it may cause EM light to be illuminated which will require resetting
