147 worth changing to bigger alloy wheels ?

hello there, i just bought a 147 1.6 twin spark lusso 2002 burgandy red and i absolutely love it. However, I like to change the standard factory alloy wheels which it currently has from 15 to a 17 inch or 18 inch. i dont want to make my 147 to look like a boy racer. i just like to make the car to look more sporty and unique to myself. i know by changing the wheel size will affect the calibration of the car itself. It will also intoduce more drag and noise as well as drinking more petrol. Can somebody please give me some ideas? Is it worth while changing given the cost n the side effect on the bigger wheels.

You could always look for some Alfa 17's - I have them.

Ride is harsher but they look ace - really transform the car.

dont do 18's mine came with them and it was horrible and came awfully close to fouling the front struts, i now have 17" alfa multispokes and the car is so much better for it

I changed the alloys on my 147 a while ago, i wanted 17's but after i had ordered them i was told there was a problem and it would be a 6 week wait so i wasnt sure but they said they would do the 18's for the same price, i decided to try the 18's and im glad i did i think they would look too small in any other size but thats probably just the wheel i chose. I cant say i have noticed the ride being harsher than before when it had 15's and it has never scrubbed the inside of the wheel arch although it is a close fit to the suspension parts. I didnt get alfa wheels either here are some piccies
