147. Upgrading Standard Strrering Wheel to Multifunction

Hi there,

I have a base spec 147 (2006) and it just has the basic steering wheel. If I was able to source a multifunction steering wheel, would it be difficult to change them over, and get the radio functions/airbags connected?

If you only have the basic steering wheel as standard, I think it's a fair bet that the wiring loom in your car won't be able to make a multifunction wheel fully functional.

i got the new type steering wheel on mine . was there before i bought it and the horn dont work think that has something to do with the clock spring . think you might have to wire new leads through if you want to multifunction stuff to work aswell also the indicator dont cancel correctly sometimes . but it dose make the interior look alot more modern
