ABS no working after jumpstart.
So after a 3 1/2 drive i dropped a friend off at his car and it wont start. No problem, he has jump leads. As i Pull round to the front of his car he connects up the leads on his car, i lift my bonnet and he clips on the negative lead and hands me the postive lead to clip on has he goes round to start his car. Unfortunalty he has connected the leads the wrong way round on his car! que sparks when i try and connect the lead, and the ABS and ((!)) warning lights coming on. A quick brake test has confirmed that the ABS is, in fact, not working.
So anyone know what the likely damage is? I have i just blown a fuse, or is the whole ABS system ****ed?
Pretty angry at my mate right now, although i know i probably should have checked. Car is a 156 2.0TS if that makes any difference.
