A few GT upgrades during other work?
Right then, I bought an 06 GT, JTD, had just under 70K on the clock. There is something wrong in the gearbox, which I will be getting sorted out.
Now, whilst the gearbox is out, is it going to be worth having the clutch replaced? There is going to be minimal additional labour, because all the parts are already out for the gearbox. Would now be a good time to get the clutch changed, or would I be wasting my money.
Also, I'm being persuaded towards a Q2 diff during the "procedure". I have read a few threads saying that once you have driven with the Q2, you'll never go back. Is it worth the extra money on an already large bill? For that matter, anybody know roughly how much extra it would cost?!
Am I looking at a £1000 bill that will make the car near enough brand new? Or is it going to just get her back to "normal". I love my GT, and I'm planning on keeping her till the wheels fall off, is all this work a valid investment?
Any advice is greatly received, this is my first Alfa!
