Hmmm 147 Cam Belt Change + other

I've just had the cam belt change on my 147 which only cost me 220, which I'm happy with, but i wish i read up on the site first, because I would have had the variator done at the same time if i known that was causing it to sound like a diesel!

The problem is the garage gave me list of other things that need doing as well (rad leaking, cat converter blowing, oil leaking and front tyres worn)!

I've done the oil & filter today so hopefully that'll solve that, but I'm sure i can now hear the blow from the cat's, when i couldn't before, so i think they've done the old screwdriver test.

Anyway I noticed the small hole whilst changing the oil, and i was wondering if i could do a quick fix with some Halfords exhust fix stuff and a large jubilee clip, and if that'll do because the front section with the twin cat's ain't cheap.

(the tyre's can wait till just before the MOT, and I'll see to the rad in a few weeks or so, their about 60 in eBay).
