Oddly enough most people are at work during the day and only get chance to view the forum and all its myriad posts in the evening........hence why its another twelve hours for you to get this reply.....
I've never actually replaced a bearing in one of these uprights - I just fit a second-hand replacement unit, because I have plenty of them...as its pretty rare for a front wheel bearing to fail. But AFAIK bearing replacement isn't a job you can do without a press, or at least a good vice....the bearing assembly bolts onto the upright, but the hub and drive flange need pressing out. You might be able to use a hub puller to pull the hub out of the bearing, but as I say I've never tried it, and I wouldn't want to try to put the hub back into the new bearing without a press or vice....
