If it was mandrel bent it wouldn't have the bend deformations you can see.
It would still work fine as it is, and it was to get the car back on the road, but if you were to purely build a performance/reliability version to be better than the stock, or silicon hose option, then you would want it mandrel bent, or, well made up of assembled bends, and probably a tiny tad larger too.
i'm gonna be doing some work on this part soon if anyone else is interested, and hoping to reproduce it in small numbers for forum members and retail.
