Paulie, personally, i wouldn't map with anyone else.
Nigel, Alfanige, Angeltune, has been fabulous for me in the past, and was prewarned about my newest addition, my own 1.9 JTD16v SW before i'd even bought it!
He has not just done alfa's for me, other stuff and even my MotoX van, all have been great, no issues, no faults, and i got exactly the type of map i wanted, grunt where you use it most, not just an impressive peak and graph to stare at!
and, just as Nigel assured me on my first Alfa, this type of map adds enough perfromance to be very impressed, but no noticeable decrease in economy. I recently used my 2.4 to take my family and luggage from Nottingham to Newquay for the annual kids holiday, and we weren't hanging around, and still easily achieved well over 40mpg, good enough for me.
He is very knowledgable on the drivetrain tolerance levels, and can map precisely within certain limits if you know what your planning ahead for if you haven't already done it, i.e the clutch, gearbox, shafts etc etc
I'll be doing a HD Clutch in mine to help cope, but still not map much beyond what a stock clutch would cope with, and it will probably be the better of the two offerings from CG Motosport, with the high bite pressure, AND their own ceranic (ceramic / organic mix) friction plate, that sghould do the trick nicely in the 1.9, as it handles copious amounts of torque from the 2.4's.
So, in brief, yes i'd personally recommend him very highly, and can't wait to start on my hard mods on the SW so that i can get him in again to finish off with a similar type of map again.
i'm a fan!!!
