Eating humble pie.

Hi Guys, After having ranted on more than one occaision about the woes of the selespeed system i now need advice and help re the selespeed.Ive purchased a 147 with a failed selespeed system i was going to keep it for spare parts, but now it looks as if i may be buying a good 156 selespeed. Both cars are same year and both 2.0 litre are the parts interchangeable ? Can the 147 be reborn. I have critised the sillyspeed system no end and havnt bothered learning anything about them. The several that ive purchased for spares were bl***in dangerous to drive, finding a car that goes from 4th into neutral whilst overtaking on the motorway is not my idea of thrill seeking!! So whilst ive been a doom merchant now i need some advice..........

Major parts (gearbox, actuator, pump, ecu etc) are the same. There may be some subtle differences, eg the loom with the pump relay is a bit different...
