Weird Problem With My 156

I'm just wondering if anybody else has experienced this particular & perculiar problem.
Over the last few weeks I have been experiencing increasing wind noise from both the front doors. At first I thought that it was either my imagination or maybe that the windows weren't closing properly, but on proper investigation, the rubber seals around the door frame look as if they have been attacked with a Stanley Knife, all sort of torn around the door catches. Now, assuming that no one actully has broken into my car, sliced through the door rubbers and then relocked my car, can anyone explain this, especialy as the door catches and locks have never fouled the rubbers.
Also does anyone know how much this might cost approx to fix. The thought of Bishops going near my car is quite frightening but nevertheless the wind noise is getting irritating.

Re: Weird Problem With My 156

Sounds like either a sharp edge on the door, or you caught it on something, maybe in you back pocket?

Anyway, buy new seals, pull old ones off (big yank to get going then easy) and push on new ones, tapping home with a rubber mallet. Then superglue the join.Simple.

Or you could glue the tears poss, if no bits missing
