Wave alfadiag help - southampton area

hi all

new to world of alfa but enjoying it so far *touches wood*

i would like to check a couple things out on alfadiag and was wondering if there are any kind chaps/esses around the southampton area who wouldn't mind, for a beer or two, helping me out and having a look.

i mainly would like to check out if there are any logged faults, reset the airbags and also check out the engine temps just so i know whats going on (suspect half open thermostat) i have a 01 147 1.6Lusso.

if someone feels they can help me out and enjoys beer/cider/wine then let me know. won't expect anyone to come to mine happy to drive somewhere.

i would ask if there were any meets coming up but she isn't in a shape for me to show off yet... give me time and money and i will.

Hi Simon, it may be a good idea to start a thread in the South Central forum, you might get some luck from the locals.

Hi Simon.

I live in bournemouth. And I have alfadiag and fiat ecu scan. I would offer to help however I did offer this to someone else with a 147, yet when he poped round my cable didn't seem to fit anywhere on his car. The plug seemed to be the wrong shape from what I can remember. If anyone can confirm that I was looking in the right place (under the steering wheel to the right and that the cable will def fit your car then you are more than welcome to come round and plug it in. Beer and cider is not mandatory!

Mine looks like this. The 147 seemed to need a rectangle plug.

Rarebear....any advice
