I am not clever enough to remove the plugs, I will get it started on Monday and take it to the local Indi.
Leave it with him overnight, so that he can try to start from cold, then he can look out for the leaking injector.
There is always a lot of presure on the injector, it fairly gushes out, when it is removed. Alternatively they can take out the plugs before attempting to start it up.
Having given this problem, some considerable thought; I now suspect a rogue injector and I understand that these can be replaced individually. A much cheaper solution than the new pump, originally suggested.
Thanks to all members for their input, to this annoying situation.
Strange that this only happens, when the car has been standing, because once it is up and away, it starts quite normally and runs like a dream.
