Ok, I've recently bought a 156 SW 2.0 Veloce from a small indy car dealer. It drives lovely, but i've had a couple of faults from the start. It has an oil leak which seems to be coming from the area where the bell housing of the gearbox meets the engine, it drips more as the engine cools???
??? Also i've got a re occurring engine management light, even though the car still runs fine.
Ok, so i've taken it back to the garage twice now (3rd time tomorrow) each time he clears the management light (for a few days) and is in some sort of parallel universe when it comes to the oil leak! He clearly doesn't want to have to drop the gearbox and has come up with all sorts that he's done in order to rectify the leak - each time with no difference of course.
I'm getting towards the end of my rope with him to be honest, and could quite happily kick his head in, so should I give him another go to put it right? Or is it time for a full refund?
Then I can go and get another one elsewhere.
Any thoughts appreciated,
