I have been suffered for the ride comfort from Bridgestone Potenza and back to original Conti SportContact. Since the Conti only got may be 10% tread left (same level as the wear indicator). I have asked many opinion off you guys. Reuven and Stori highly recommand Yoko V550 which I believe it must be very comfort and good tyre.
Here are the average quote of the few tyres in last 2 months:
Yoko V550 =A$225
Yoko A539 = A$200 (cheap but my dealer reckon it only last 20k max)
Bridgestone S03 = $220 (don't wanna go back to the hard ride
Michelin Pilot Sport = $250
Goodyear F1 GSD3 = A$240
Recently our local tyre Beauerapair has got 3 days 15% off all Goodyear & Dunlop tyres. I got few quote on Goodyear today, the lowest I can get is $200. I think it's a good chance to get it so I'm planning to get it tomorrow. However,I drove thru a one of Beauerepair shop when I finished work and I thought I should give it a go and see how much they can offer. Guess what $172 a tyre
. And I ask him are they F1 GSD3 and are they fresh ? He said yes it is F1 GSD 3 and it is fresh because they don't keep that tyre in stock. They need to order from Goodyear. And of course I pay for it immediately with that super cheap price becoz offer ends tomorrow and I don't need to work. I am so happy now becoz it saves me few hundreds bucks compare with original price 1 month ago.
(Now I can't wait to tuesday to fit them)
I will post some pics to show you guys on tuesday
