Xenon self levelling link

Today whilst cleaning up all the widely dispersed CV joint grease from a split boot on the passenger side I noticed a small link system that had been disconected an held in place with 3 cable ties.

On speaking with the dealer that sold/serviced the car they told be that they had indeed repaired this link with the 3 cable ties and that it was the xenon self levelling unit. I was not very happy with this repair to say the least.

I then went to my local Alfa dealer to order the correct link and on Eper it shows the link as a very complicated bent unit where as the link unit on my car is just a straight rod - could anybody confirm which is which please as the replacement bent link is 25.00.

Yes, you want the straight-type link (the double-kink type is for some designs of rear sensor).

Try part number 60679378.
