Alfa GT Roof/Window Leak

I have recently noticed a water stain on the roof liner of my GT, just above the drivers door pillar area where the side airbag sign is. Its a very recent thing but I cant for the life of me work out where it might be coming from.

Any one got any ideas?

Also - when I lock the car now, after the initial beep I can another one about 5 seconds later, again only recently started. Just hope that the leak hasn't got to the electrics!

All thoughts/ideas greatly appreciated.

Seal the black plastic thing covering the roof-edge where the window glass closes.

Is your window closing fully when you shut the door?

I have just bought a 2007 GT and when i shut the drivers door the window wasn't fully closing, I have done a window soft reset and all is sorted now.

Try this:
  • Hold window button down until the window fully opens
  • keep button pressed down for 10 seconds
  • Pull button up until the window is fully closed
  • Hold the button up for another 10 seconds

Your windows should now open and close properly.

Also, clean the seal & window & then apply silica spray onto the seal.
This will make a better contact between the seal & the window.

I have a similar issue only I end up with a wet seatbelt it the wind is blowing the wrong way. Seems to be the seal between the top of the rear side window or the hard strip above he drivers door seal.
