Petrol Gauge light..

I am beginning to get a bit worried. First the car pulling to the left (see other thread), and now the Low Fuel light will not go out. When I started it today, firstly the gauge stayed at empty for about ten minutes, then the gauge went up to about half-way (which is about where it should be) but the light stayed on. I hope I don't have any more of these problems, however, as I said, I am getting a bit worried.....

Re: Petrol Gauge light..

Isn't your car close to a cambelt change service? Why don't you bring it in early? There isn't much harm in being early, but you don't want to be too late. The faulty gauge and light could be from the sensor in the fuel tank, or its wiring.
