It must be summer!

I know it's unseasonably warm today, but my outside temperature sensor thinks it's 22 degrees! My GF's Pug 206 GTi thinks it's 12. Pug 1, Alfa 0 methinks!

Anyone else had the same problem and is it easily fixed?

Re: It must be summer!

Did it calm down after you started driving?
In the summer if mine is parked with the sun shining on the LHS mirror (the one with the temp sensor) it goes a bit extreme (I saw 40deg last year!!) but as soon as I get moving it recovers and shows something believable...

Only 40deg - that's a normal summer temperature here - at night !!!

The temp sensor gets a bit lost if the wing mirror is in the sun - at least you could put up the heating and convince yourself it was a nice warm day.

Re: It must be summer!

I get this when the car is standing still.... warm or cold... and wheever you start moving it always goes up slightly when cold or down when warm. So dont worry... Alfa wins... not Peugeot
