Re: Any advice for a potential 147 buyer?
I have my 147 1.6 for 10 months now and I made 22000km with only 2 problems. Around 4000km I had to change the front left side indicator light, because after heavy rain, it was half full of wather. Then from 15000 km the clutch started to make noise in reverse but it was changed under warranty. (I was told it wasn't a problem influencing functionality, only annoying) And it consumed around 0,6l fo oil in those 20000km. And that's it. But I wouldn't expect VW durability. My dad had VW Vento and made 400 000km in 6 years. And it let him down only once.
But as you wrote, only Alfa can make you smile and for me that's important.
Have a nice day
