Yup, my company has bought a large trailer for taking kit to shows and a) it's too heavy and b) I refuse to tow something that big with my alfa!
My boss thought it would be fine as I have a tow bar fitted (for towing a little trailer to the tip and for camping holidays), I pointed out the weight of the new trailer is greater than the max towing weight of my car - end of discussion.
So I have looked on autotrader to get a rough idea of the value of my car and given up so seeking advice!
It's a 51/2001 156 1.8TS Veloce estate, full leather with E/W (rear ns doesn't work), CD/Radio, newly recharged air con and so on. New front tyres and good rears, tow bar etc. Good history but due a cambelt change this year (due to belt age, not mileage), recent upper wishbones/drop links.
Inside is almost perfect, outside has a couple of scuffs and a small patch of rust on NSR door, other than that is very good - so what should I put it up for?
I've seen some at £1500 going up to £3k+ for similar - I want to sell it rather than dream about the cash I might make!
