Fuse Box Screws

Well, I've still got my aircon problem. I've come to the conclusion that it isn't chilling the air at all rather than weakly as I suspected before (and the problem has shot up the priority list in line with the mini heatwave we are having).

Anyhoo - checked all the obvious fuses and found none blown so I've gone as far as I am prepared to go as far as the job is concerned and time to get a specialist to take a look, but while I was undoing the captive screws for the internal fuse box panel I noticed one of them had been cross-threaded by the last (first?!) person to tighten them up and now doesn't tighten properly as the thread is chewed.

So the question is (for all you EPER gurus out there) can I get a replacement for the screw or do I have to buy a complete new fusebox lid @ Łarm-and-leg? The screw is just a standard machine screw with a plastic collar bonded to it that a circlip goes around to hold it in the lid. If the worst came to the worst I could replace it with just a standard screw and accept it won't be 'captive' anymore.....

Yeah, I just ordered the screws from my local dealer, priced at 40-something pence each, the previous owner of mine has stripped the threads and gouged out the head pattern. be warned, I had to buy a minimum of 5, but if it's that easy to strip the threads, then I guess I'll need them!

Haven't received them yet, so not sure if it's just the screws, or collar + screw complete.

Dealer said they'd never sold them before, which is odd!
